The image area is 7.75"x9.5" and the paper size is 11" by 14". Printed on acid free smooth finish white paper with oil based printing ink - all materials are permanent and archival. In this print I used so-called "rainbow inking", a color printmaking method when different inks are applied on a single plate simultaneously using two or more brayers.
A sprouted apple seed seemed to me a visual formula for the whole cycle of life - birth, growth, and eventually becoming a soil from which new trees will grow; life which includes happiness of giving birth and acceptance of death.
